INAH Tlaxcala Regional Museum

Located in what was the cloister of the Franciscan convent in the city. Entering its halls and strolling along the quiet convent gardens and imagining life in the past, this is best part of the visit.
Among its valuable collections include pre-Hispanic pieces found in archeological sites of Xochitécatl and Cacaxtla, plus a series of paintings of saints from the Colonial era.
